At least once in their lifetime, girls might have thought that life would have been easier for them if they were born as a boy. Why do they get such thoughts? Is it because boys are superior creatures or are they the better looking gender or super strong? I think it is only because boys don’t get discrimination against just for their gender. Only girls get the most absurd dialogues like,”Indha ponungale ipdi dhan.”
I wrote a version of this blog that was more intense and I didn’t want that to be published. So, here is a new version of a blog about women.
I know I wrote a blog that was very anti-feministic and now writing a blog entirely for supporting women is pretty contradictory.
Do you know what is the most irritating thing a girl has to go through? It is the behavior of some boys who treat them like some kind of evil creatures walking on the roads of Earth. They hate girls just because they are girls. They think it is “Gethu” by not seeing or not talking to girls and they also treat other boys who talk to girls like perverts. Boys who do that, you are not so “Gethu” as you think you are, you are just too “Gay”.
I think most women don’t want “Singapenne” kind of motivation, we just don’t want “Indha ponungale ipdi dhan” kinda demotivation. The least you could do is not disrespecting. If we ask for respect without doing anything to deserve that, it would not be fair. So, all I am asking is we don’t deserve degradation just because we are women.
Just no respect no disrespect until one deserves either of that irrespective of gender.
I might sound feministic if I say more. So, below are the views on this topic by two people I know well and trust with all my heart. (One from each gender. So, you can’t say it is biased.)
